How do I know if I need
Therapy or Counseling?

You want to build lasting change in your life.
You’re looking for a therapist that will hear your story, and help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

Short-term fixes provided short-term relief.

-
Believe in your ability to overcome obstacles.
You want to work with a therapist who believes in you and will help you believe in yourself again, building a narrative of hope.

Get to Know Dan
I grew up in a small farming community in Wisconsin and have since lived in other small towns and big cities around the world. Through meeting many people and exploring other cultures, I have learned that my perspective is one of many. Genuine respect for others is the key to building relationships and developing support, which is critical to creating change in our lives.
Groups
Isolation is often one of our greatest barriers to change. Sometimes more perspectives can speed our growth. Groups provide support, encouragement, motivation, and the added wisdom of others' experiences.

I speak to my clients like real people — that includes cursing and joking along the way! While I enjoy developing a personal rapport in every session and offering direct guidance, I’m never going to tell you what to do. I trust you to make the decisions that are right for your situation.
-
All of my clients begin with a free 15 - 20 minute consultation to understand your goals and determine if we’re a good fit. If we both think I can be of help to you, we’ll start the intake process and schedule a weekly session to move forward together. Schedule your free consultation here!
-
During times when my client load is at capacity, I stop accepting consultation bookings. If you’d like to be notified when my schedule opens up, join my mailing list here.
